I created a one-page summary for each chapter of Design for How People Learn by Julie Dirksen, using Procreate to create hand-drawn images. I shared the summaries on LinkedIn, initially as posts and later as newsletter articles. https://www.linkedin.com/newsletters/6943906940670373888/. I also made them available to download on Gumroad.

As I learnt about instructional design theories and took part in courses about instructional design, I created summaries using Canva to help me to remember what I had learnt.

I create structural summaries of some books that I read, to help me to see how ideas fit together across chapters. These were created in Canva and Miro. The summary of Building a Second Brain has been shared by the author in his newsletter and by Francis Miller in an article.

Sage Publications commissioned me to create eight pages for The Teacher’s Standards in the Classroom (5th edition). I created the vector graphics and laid out each page in Adobe Illustrator.
