In my role as Community Learning Tutor, I was tasked with designing an instructor-led course titled Staying Safe Online.

I used Miro to record my analysis of learning gaps and relevant course standards, and my design of outcomes, assessments and content.

For the purposes of my portfolio, I have added comments which show how I have drawn upon instructional design models and learning theories when developing the course. I have also included visual summaries that I created in Canva to help me to remember the key models and theories.

I have developed this into a scheme of work, using the format required by the Community Learning and Skills Service. This is supported by lesson plans which give more detail for the facilitator. I then delivered this as a face-to-face course.

I also intend to develop the content as an e-learning course, using Articulate Storyline.
